It's amazing...
Mikey remembers that the toilet is for throwing up...
yet.. he refuses to use it for his movements....
hmmm there might be something to this....
The last few days Mikey has been a bit unwell... he's had a virus which has given him a high temp of about 38.6 round the clock.. we have been able to bring it down with Nurofen and Panadol combined and today he seems to be less feverish which is good, but he took a scull of his diluted lemon cordial and it came straight back up... so it seems his stomach is still sensitive and can use some more resting time.
I was amazed yesterday when I put Zoe down in Mikey's bedroom and sat in the livin room while she played with the toys in his room, After about an hour of listening to mikey playing with her and Zoe laughing and also being content with the time she had in there, i realised not once had she cried or complained.
Isn't it just incredible... Mikey was able to babysit his little sister! very cool really.
I suppose it makes sense. Zoe and Mikey dont intrude on each others space and neither want much more than a quirky smile or funny noise for entertainment.
School Holidays willbe over soon and Mikey will resume therapy....
i find it odd that therapists choose to stop treatment over the 2 week period of school holidays.
