School Holidays #2

Sitting at home is so boring after a while. sure theres the stuff i need to do around the house like washing up, tidying living areas, making beds, washing bathroom/toilet... etc...etc.... but once it's done... and it's lunchtime and then theres very little left i have been used to being able to grab Zoe and take off somewhere for some kind of entertainment... Having Mikey (and Annabelle most days) at home now has put me back into where i used to be... stuck at home. I attempted taking him to the shops today and had to carry him out all floppy because he simply didn't have the coping mechanisms for the lights, sounds, people... it was all too much. he clung to his new box of playdoh as we walked out falling over 3 times and me just giving up and carrying him because he wouldn't sit in the pram with his sister. The afternoon at home has been lovely and quiet unlike this morning where we had argument after arguement because he wanted easter eggs or lollies or anything that WASN'T nutritious... thanks to the playdoh we've had peace. now mikey has ventured outside to play in the water and sand. i can't wait to get the trampoline and climbing frame for him so that his play outside is actually beneficial for his autism in a greater measure. (hopefully these are delivered by next week from Melbourne) So i sit here updating a few things online before i head out to do more laundry... i should be grateful that i have the time to do the housework. i've been in a situation where i wasn't able to and hated the mess with passion so atleast it's getting done... ahh but i will be happy when School resumes again on May 3rd (for ASPECT) and i'm able to return to spending hours out and about with Zoe and Belle without my very sweet, loving, beautiful but highly anxious little boy putting a spanner in the works.
