School Holidays #3

The last week has been INSANE!

i know that mums usually complain in school holidays because the kids are just so bored.

for Mikey it's been really rough. He's so used to constant therapy and i just haven't been able to even get near what he's used to.
twice in a day he often requires his weighted vest to just STOP bolting around the house like he's on red cordial... add to this the usual 2-3yo behaviour of backchatting and tantrums.

I feel for him because he has emotional crashes, just like Bellie, and doesn't understand what he's being told.

In response to this i organised the trampoline and climbing frame which arrived last night and were assembled today.
Mikey LOVES his new 10ft trampoline and climbing set. Belle and Zoe are also very chuffed with their new play equipment.
I have plans to install a sand pit into one of the existing garden beds also as Mikey is digging EVERYWHERE in my backyard, and against what i wish he would he's digging up all the new grass i've planted for him to play on. Logic? lol.

We also bought a whole heap of new playdoh today and some new fish for the new tropical 2ft tank i was given by a friend. So Mikey is VERY happy with himself and today was much more settled after playing with all his new stimuli.

Mikey's school has 3 weeks of holidays and he returns May 3rd. So I'm very happy it all arrived today and i'm looking forward to a more chilled out week as Mikey enjoys the new play equipment and house items before returning to school :)
